New Turntables

New Turntables

Just in time for back to school, Sweet Melissa Records is now stocking several different turntables. No matter what your budget, or how much space you have to spare, we have a turntable for you!

For the dorm:

This self contained Crossley table represents the height of miniaturization technology. It is a Belt Drive two speed table with built in Tuner and Speakers.
I must say, when I heard it for the first time I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound. It isn't going to win any awards for incredible fidelity, but in a small space, it gets the job done nicely.
Includes built-in preamp and Line Out. Can be connected to a receiver or powered speakers.
($129.98 While Supplies Last)

For the Budding Hi-Fi Enthusiast:

This stylish and well made Audio Technica table is a great starting point if your looking to get into Hi-Fi audio.

It's a fully automatic belt driven table with a built in phono stage (that can be bypassed.)

It would require a receiver (amplifier), and a set of speakers.

It looks good, it sounds good, it's compact and well made. Stop by the store for a demo.

($129.98)

The Next Level:

For those looking to step things up to the next level, we offer the Pro-Ject Debut. The debut is a hand made, manual, belt driven table that offers unparalleled quality at it's price point.

The bundled cartridge offers great clarity and frequency response. Coupled with the right receiver and speakers, this table could be the centerpiece of a fabulous Hi-Fi system.

Live Music

Over the past few months, Sweet Melissa Records has been host to a number of live performances from local acts. For those that didn't get the chance to come out and share in the fun, you missed some great performances. As much as we wish we could take you back to those shows, we don't have a time machine. We do, however, have the next best thing: Photos and Videos!

Check back here often over the next few weeks as we upload photos and videos from the events. If you have any photos, videos, or stories you'd like to share, please feel free to send it to us   ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). After all, it's your record store!
